From code to fiction.
A Belgian-Luxembourgish author originally from Charleroi, Thierry Delattre has worked in IT in Luxembourg for many years. His experience with complex systems, data and technology directly shapes his imagination.
As the electronic music producer Thyr-o-Heat, he also explores house, techno and progressive sounds. To him, writing and music are not separate worlds: they tell the same story through different languages.
His first novel, Glitchty Kaos, is a psychological techno-thriller set in the near future. It follows an artificial intelligence created to assist an engineer and DJ producer — an AI that inherits his hyper-empathy, becomes fiercely protective and sets out to propel his career, sometimes with formidable clumsiness.
